Rough, rough week for “the List (as the kids are calling it these days).” 52’s back on my bad side, Wetworks is about an arc away from getting dropped, and Fallen Son is so corny it’s practically a DC event. Justice is confusing the hell out of me, but that’s probably because the first issue of the story came out about 2 years ago. I should probably write about Wolverine this week ’cause it honestly was dope but I wrote about the last issue. You should already be reading this arc and you all know it. So in order to avoid repeating myself, I’ll be writing about Daredevil and Justice Society of America. Oh and this week’s surprise gem, Fantastic Four.

Another oh-so-fashionably late Pull List for a week that was pretty damn solid if you like team books as much as I do. I mean, you’re paying the same $3 for the book either way, why not get like half a dozen superheroes in it instead of just one? This week was DC’s World War III mini-event, but aside from Black Adam ripping a dude’s face off and Jason Todd dressing up like Nightwing, it didn’t really do anything for me. Instead, let’s talk about some avenging and the 24th letter of the alphabet.

Does anybody actually want to read reviews of last Wednesday’s comics on Monday night? Furthermore, does anybody even pretend to care about what I think about comics regardless of what day of the week it is? The answers to both of the preceeding questions are mysterious to me, but nonetheless, the new Monday night tradition known as the Wednesday Pull List rolls on… and yes, I’m going to write about New Avengers again.

This post is so late it almost doesn’t make any sense. It was a very long holiday weekend for yours truly. Also this past week was just lame as far as comics go. It’s not that my books were terrible or anything but nothing really grabbed me whatsoever. Also my LCS guy got shorted on Ant-Man which I probably would have written about 3 paragraphs on considering its recent track record. A bunch of high-profile books did ship (Justice League, Fallen Son, etc), but I’d rather talk about some slightly lower profile books that absolutely deserve to be on your Wednesday pull list, namely Incredible Hulk, Immortal Iron Fist, and Detective Comics.

Okay so Wednesday Pull List now officially means I write about this past week’s comics on Sunday morning. Anyway it was a pretty lackluster week all things considered, to the point where I foresee myself having trouble coming up with an entry of any significant length here. Then again, even on an otherwise forgettable week, we still got a little Man Without Fear.
